Anyone can match keywords. The harder thing is asking three questions of every candidate, on every call, with every reference, until the shortlist contains only the people you would actually hire. Can they do the work. Will they do it well. And will they fit the company they're being asked to do it inside.
Every engagement is exclusive: I do not run two searches for the same role. I work retained, on a short list of clients at any given time, which means deep diligence on the company before any candidates are approached. The same person you talk to on the first call is the one writing the search brief, making the calls, vetting the references, and walking the offer through to signature. There is no junior researcher, no handoff, no team.
